Gunfactor (Dina Summer remix)drops 22 May 2026

“Gunfactor (Dina Summer remix)” comes out on 22 May 2026, on the furnace room records label. The band adds their distinct dark disco vibes to this track, with Dina’s vocals shining as they always do. I’m a big fan of their music and so happy they created this awesome remix.

The 10 track LP, released in late April 2026, was executive produced by Abe Duque. The title is a play on words. In Dutch, it loosely means “it factor”, or that something that pushes you over the edge to “make it”. The English meaning lands instantly. The album explores the pathways to fame.

Dina Summer is a Berlin-based three-member band featuring Greek vocalist Dina, producer/DJ Max Brudi and Bavarian producer Jakob Häglsperger. Formed in 2019, the trio blends influences from ’80s Italo disco, new wave, EBM, and early electroclash into a dark, retro-futuristic synth sound, driven by club-ready basslines, cinematic melodies, and striking vocals. Their releases include the album Rimini (2022) and the EPs Who Am I and Hide & Seek. In 2025, they released their second album, Girls Gang, further cementing their reputation as one of Europe’s most compelling modern synth acts.
