New single "Cartel" drops on 7 August 2026

My third album Gunfactor came out on 24 April 2026, on my furnace room records label. The ten-track album explores the pathways to fame and infamy — how exceptional talent, good fortune and, sometimes, darker events can push someone into the public eye.

“Fang Mich”, which means “catch me”, was written partly in Tortola, BVI and mostly during a dank January week in Berlin. I had flown there for a photoshoot and interview with KEYI magazine https://www.keyimagazine.com/2025/05/08/apaull-homogeny-2/ as part of the Homogeny album promo. Winter fog, a nearby wall with an ‘if the walls could speak’ kind of history and graffiti-infused architecture gave the track its dark and menacing vibe. Late-night walks to and from Berghain and the friendlier Tresor sealed it. Musically, the track snaps with percussive feints and call-and-response stabs — DJ catnip for tight mixes.

Signal Deluxe, formed by Valeria Rueda (Lila D.) and Jerónimo Puente (Jerga), is a cornerstone of Berlin via Mexico’s electronic music scene. Since 2005, they have crafted a distinctive blend of experimental house and spacey techno, with releases on labels including Get The Curse and their own Blaq Records. They have held residencies at Berlin’s Bar25 and Golden Gate and played festivals and venues including Fusion and Tresor. Their remix of “Fang Mich” brings their deep, atmospheric sensibilities to the track.
